Alta Mae Krug
Age 84, of East Canton died Wednesday, July 28, 2010 in Altercare of Louisville. Born June 25, 1926 in Ivel, KY. to the late Jesse James and Hannah Elizabeth (Gussler) Prater. She was an East Canton resident for 26 years and had also resided in Canton and Perry Twp. Alta retired from the Department of Human Services with 16 years of service and had also been employed by the Boy Scouts of America and the Social Security Administration. Preceded in death by four brothers, Clifford, Warren, Golden and Emery Prater; two sisters, Dessie Harlan and Ruth Prater. Survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Art and Michele Fach of East Canton; two grandchildren, Gregory Fach and Elizabeth Fach both of East Canton. A private family funeral service will take place in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Pastor Phil DiSabatino officiating. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery.
